Egg Hakka Noodles

Hakka Noodles Recipe | How to make Restaurant Style Hakka Noodles

 

 A classic Asian cuisine brought to India by the Chinese. This amalgamation of Indian-chinese dish is one of the easiest and can be cooked under 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Oil- 4tsp

Mix veggies- carrots, beans, corn, peas (you can use any of your choice)

Egg noodles- 1 packet

Garlic- 2-3 cloves, chopped

Egg-2

Green chilies- 2-3, slit

Cilantro– handful


Seasoning

Salt

Pepper


Sauces

Vinegar- ½ tsp

Soy sauce- 1 tsp

Chili sauce- ½ tsp

Sichuan sauce (shezwan sauce)- 1 tsp

 

  

How to make Egg Hakka noodles


Note: Make sure to use high flame throughout. It will enhance the flavor. Avoid burning. 

  1. Boil noodles al-dente with some oil. Drain the water and keep it aside.
  2. In a wok add oil and let it heat. 
  3. Add beaten eggs and scramble it. Keep it aside
  4. In the same wok, add some more oil, green chili and garlic.
  5. Add veggies and cilantro and sauté for a minute.
  6. Now add the scrambled eggs back to the wok.
  7. Add salt and mix well.
  8. Add in the noodles and mix well slowly and carefully avoiding the noodles from breaking.
  9. Keep mixing till all the veggies have mixed with the noodles.
  10. Add in all the sauces mentioned and again, mix well.
  11. Adjust the seasoning accordingly (sauces also contain some salt)
